All members are invited and encouraged to attend this important meeting, which will be followed by an End-of-Term Reception from 2:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. in 2017 Dunton Tower. The AGM will feature discussion of a number of key issues, including:

President's Report
Angelo Mingarelli will present his final report as CUASA President.

Nominations & Elections Report
Eva Mackey, Nominations & Elections Chairperson, will update the membership on the status of Executive and Committee positions. In particular, the Chair will remind members there is currently no nominee for the position of President Elect, a crucial Executive position within the Association. If any member would like more information regarding the nomination process or the position of President Elect, please contact the CUASA Office at [email protected].

Treasurer’s Report
Along with detailing the 2014-2015 Expenditure Plan, Treasurer David Jackson will outline the need for an increase in the Mil Rate of 1.5 mils (0.15% of salary) in order to continue to provide effective services to the CUASA membership. You can find further details about the mil rate increase in our previous communique.

Bargaining Report
Janice Scammell, Chair of the Collective Bargaining Committee, will update members on the status of bargaining and where the bargaining process goes from here.

Internal Affairs Report
Justin Paulson, Chair of the Internal Affairs Committee, will update members on the resolution of the OPSEU 404 strike and the bargaining situations of other campus unions.
