A renewed collective agreement between Carleton University and the Carleton University Academic Staff Association (CUASA) was signed by both parties on Feb. 7, 2019.

CUASA represents 913 professors, instructors and librarians.

A tentative collective agreement was reached on May 27, 2018 and was ratified by Carleton University’s Board of Governors and Carleton University Academic Staff Association members in June 2018.

The four-year collective agreement covers the period of May 1, 2017 to April 30, 2021.

We wish to thank all the members of both bargaining teams for their hard work throughout this important process and look forward to continuing our positive working relationship.
