Annual General Meeting
All Association members are invited to the Annual General Meeting, next Wednesday, April 10, 2019 from 1:00-3:00pm in 2017 Dunton Tower. The agenda for the AGM will be sent out early next week. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
A Message from CUASA’s President
In case you missed it, CUASA President Root Gorelick issued a note to CUASA members to say he plans to step down from the presidency this summer in order to go on sabbatical. In it, Dr. Gorelick said he hopes one of you steps forward to take on the important and often influential role as CUASA’s interim president. If not, then one of our other open positions may be of interest to you. Details on open positions can be found below.

Call for Volunteers: Collective Bargaining Committee
As of the end of this month, we will be just two years away from the expiration of the 2017-2021 collective agreement. With that in mind, we are in the early stages of preparing for the next round of bargaining. The first step in this process is populating the members of the Collective Bargaining Committee, whose term will begin July 1, 2019. The first step in the process will be preparing for the launch of our pre-bargaining survey a year from now, followed by preparation of our bargaining demands. For more information on the CBC, please see Bylaw 7 of the CUASA Constitution and Bylaws. If you are interested in volunteering for the CBC, please email [email protected].
Disaffiliation Vote
Details on the Disaffiliation Vote will be sent in a separate email. Please watch for it.
