A Note from CUASA’s President
A Note from CUASA’s President
March 22, 2019
Dear CUASA members,
It has truly been a pleasure serving as CUASA president for the past two years. As I had mentioned at the 2018 AGM when I accepted my nomination for the 2018-2020 term of office for President, I want to step down from the presidency this summer in order to go on sabbatical. I have a lot of research and writing to catch up on!
I have thoroughly enjoyed working with everybody to improve the working environment for all of our members., Thank you very much for your feedback and encouragement over the past two years. Because of our activist members, this has been an amazing term, for which I was proud to have served.
Since I will be on sabbatical for 2019-2020, I hope one of you steps forward to take on this important and often influential role as CUASA’s interim president. If not, then one of our other open positions may be of interest to you. Details on all open positions can be found below. Thank you very much.
In Solidarity,
Root Gorelick
President, CUASA
