Conciliation Update April 9, 2025
Today we enter the second day of three days of conciliation with the Employer. Yesterday the pace of bargaining picked up with articles on discrimination, health and safety, purchase amounts for computers/laptops, rights and responsibilities, sabbaticals, and grievances and arbitrations finalized. While many additional articles are in the final stages, a number of important articles are outstanding, mainly on workload and wages. We hope to begin to address financials by the end of today.

The 2021-24 Collective Agreement remains in force until a new agreement is ratified by both parties, or until a lockout or strike. CUASA will continue to regularly inform its members on collective bargaining.
