CUASA’s Executive Director’s Home Severely Damaged In Fire – Please Donate

February 2016

On Saturday night, January 30th, Kimberly Benoit’s home was significantly damaged in a fire. We are happy to report that Kimberly, her daughters and the family pet dog safely escaped the home with no injuries. http://ottawacitizen.com/news/local-news/fire-at-explorer-lane-home-causes-350000-damage

The Benoit family has suffered a significant loss and is currently without basic essentials during this difficult period of time. On behalf of the family, CUASA is reaching out to the community and asking for personal donations.

Since Kimberly and her daughters are currently without the basic essentials, we recommend the following items to immediately assist the family:

cash or cheque donations
grocery or restaurant gift cards
mall gift cards (to purchase clothing and supplies)

You may drop off or mail your donation to (please make any cheques payable to Kimberly Benoit):

You may send your cash donation directly to Kimberly via your personal banking institution’s email Interac transfer system. Please contact the CUASA office at [email protected] for more information.

The family also has an immediate need for a medium sized dog crate to use while they are staying in hotels. If you have a suitable crate, please let Kimberly know directly.

If you are unable to make a donation but would still like to help, please donate your time by forwarding on this call for donations.

Thank you for your generosity and support for CUASA Staff.
