Labour Day Parade – this Monday, September 4th

It’s that time of the year to show our pride and go shoulder to shoulder with other union members from across the city!

Please join other CUASA members and union members at the Labour Day Parade and picnic in Ottawa this Monday, September 4th. The parade begins at 12 p.m. at City Hall (Elgin and Lisgar), and marches to McNabb Park (Gladstone and Bronson) for a picnic from 1 to 4 p.m. This event will occur regardless of weather, is family-friendly, and completely free.

This event is organized annually by the Ottawa and District Labour Council. Please click here for further information. Keep an eye out for the CUASA flag to join your colleagues. See you there!

GoodLife Fitness Survey

Get on the treadmill near you at a lower price?

Faculty and staff at Carleton, in collaboration with the University’s Healthy Workplace Coordinator, are considering negotiating a reduced, corporate rate at GoodLife Fitness Centres throughout the Ottawa area.

CUASA members would have access to such a rate, if it is implemented. Please consider filling out a short survey as they gauge overall interest in such an arrangement. Click here to take the survey.
