Carleton’s revised Accessibility for Persons with Disabilities Policy
CUASA has submitted feedback on Carleton’s revised Accessibility for Persons with Disabilities Policy, calling for a clearer, more enforceable, and more disability justice-centred approach. Accessibility cannot rest on people with disabilities having to request access one barrier at a time, it must be fundamentally built into how the University operates on a structural, systemic level. Thank you to the CUASA Accessibility and Disability Caucus and to everyone who offered their insights and feedback for this document.
