Results of Vote: Constitutional Amendments

Here are the results of the vote on the amendments to the CUASA Constitution:

• Article IV Council: 98.2% in favour; 1.8% against

• Article V Steering & Article VI Officers: 98.7% in favour; 1.3% against

• Article VIII General Meetings: 98.7% in favour; 1.3% against

As required by Article XIV of the Constitution, “A majority of two-thirds (2/3) of the votes cast shall be required to bring the proposed amendments into effect.” Each of the amendments have surpassed that requirement, and have thus been adopted.
