Call for Volunteers: New Joint Equity Committee

In February, CUASA signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Carleton University for the establishment of a new Joint Committee on Employment Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JCEE).

The mandate of the new JCEE includes recommending the establishment of plans and programs for all designated employment equity groups recognized under Federal Contractors Program and other protected groups under the Ontario Human Rights Code in the Carleton University Academic Staff Association bargaining unit. CUASA is seeking three members to volunteer to represent the Association on this new committee, which is considered a subcommittee of the Joint Committee for the Administration of the Agreement (JCAA) for the term of the 2017-2021 Collective Agreement.
